Dr. Sandra Lake is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner with over 10 years in the healthcare industry. She has worked in different fields of healthcare, Intensive care, Medical-surgical, Mental health, telemetry, and obstetrics to name a few. She has both inpatient and outpatient experience. Dr. Lake earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Washington Adventist University, where she graduated Cum Laude. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in nursing and her Doctoral degree in nursing at the University of South Alabama. She is an active member of various medical societies, including the Nurse Practitioners Association of Maryland, the World Association of Academic Doctors, and the National Association of Nigerian Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Lake enjoy spending time with her family when she is not working.

Dr. Cheryl Samuels Campbell is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, an education and professional services consultant, a lifelong learner, and a seeker of personal growth and transformation. She has over 10 years of experience providing individual and group counseling services in both outpatient mental health and corporate settings. Dr. Cheryl firmly believes in a client’s innate ability to overcome adversity, strengthen resilience, heal, and grow. She applies a client-centered approach to facilitate a client’s healing journey and to celebrate accomplishments along the way. She has counseled children, adolescents, and adults from age eight to sixty years who self-referred for services, were referred by a social services agency, or were court-mandated. Tricialland Hilliard, PhD, LCPC, MA

Based in College Park, MD, Dr. Tricialland Hilliard is a detail-oriented and empathetic psychotherapist. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Hampton University. She pursued her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Bowie State University. Furthermore, she earned her Ph.D. in counseling education and supervision from Argosy University. Dr. Hilliard is currently a practitioner at Nimel Mental Health. She is skilled in treating conditions such as autism, dementia, stress, suicidal tendencies, social anxiety, and emotional abuse. She also conducts sessions for stress management, counseling for marriage, and relationships, and provides therapies. Dr. Hilliard is actively involved in community services. Melanie Stettz, LCSW-C was awarded her MSW in Clinical Behavioral Health from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She earned her B.A. from Georgetown University and an MBA from George Washington University. Melanie has experience in providing therapy to couples, families, children, teens, and adults. She is well-versed in group therapy and has been honored to work with hospice patients, military populations and those living with developmental disabilities. As a former Peace Corps volunteer in Central America, she speaks Spanish with non-native fluency and has lived and worked in several countries. Melanie utilizes a client-centered, strength-based and trauma-informed approach to therapy. Her work is integrative and is informed by multiple modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Narrative, Existential and Gestalt Therapy.

Cheryl R. Zupancic is a highly-trained and experienced psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner from the Washington Metro region. She is pleased to bring her compassionate and effective clinical practice to the clients of NIMEL Mental Health. Most recently, she served as the director and lead clinician of the adolescent division of a Virginia-based mental health facility; however, she is well-versed in the care of all ages and is excited to not only provide care for them, but also accompany them along their mental health journey as a partner to reaching their best selves. With over a decade of invaluable healthcare clinical practice and service to thousands, Mrs. Zupancic brings expertise gleaned from burn and trauma care, neurology, cardiology, and critical care to the purview of psychiatry, understanding that mental health is intrinsically connected to all body systems and, therefore, is most optimal when a holistic approach to care is embraced. Thus, Mrs. Zupancic feels a personal mandate to provide psychiatric care that is grounded in affirming each client’s wholeness, uniqueness, dignity, and potential. She is privileged to serve and assist clients on their road to mental health recovery and wellness regardless of their ailment(s). She is seeing clients of all ages, and has special interest and training in the care of clients with ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders. Mrs. Addai- Pickett is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over a decade of nursing experience working with children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Mrs. Addai-Pickett believes in patient-centered, holistic care (addressing physical, mental, social, spiritual needs) and creates a therapeutic partnership with each client. Mrs Addai-Pickette advocates patient empowerment through family and patient education, clear communication, and trust to improve quality of life. Mrs. Addai-Pickett brings her experience in medical and mental health with a focus in understanding each client’s individual circumstances in order to make appropriate treatment plans, diagnoses, therapy recommendations and incorporate psychopharmacology if deemed necessary. Mrs. Addai-Pickett treats a range of mental health/psychiatric disorders including but not limited to; mood disturbances, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD and ADHD. Mrs. Diane Chin is a Licensed Social Worker with more than 30 years’ experience in providing community social work to families and children. She has worked with the department of social services in the past to help individuals navigate through life with positive experiences. As a counselor, Mr. Chin has experience working with adults who want to manage symptoms related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, childhood trauma and adjustment disorder. She primarily utilizes CBT, mindfulness and client centered approach to help clients achieve their goals. Mrs. Chin is compassionate, caring and willing to meet clients where they are to achieve optimal health. Mrs. Chin obtained her Masters of Social work degree from University of Maryland.
